Is the Republican Party Humane? Seriously?

My Newest Rant for 2016!

I am having a difficult time understanding the why and how of our political system.  Here is a quote from a recent article on Daily Kos:

“... the Republican Party is based on a humane ideal ...”

Nothing I have seen in the past 30 or more years leads me to believe that statement to have any relation to reality.  Let’s face it, the Republicans, including and especially Trump, seem to be moving farther and farther away from being a group that has compassion for those who truly need our collective help.

The now famous Romney “47%” speech was an amazing peek behind the curtain; ‘"trickle down economics" has been proven to be “let the rich get richer; then they can piss on the poor.”  The problem with Trickle Down is that it simply does not work; it never happens!

It became clear that the Republicans planned on shutting down our government fully two years before they did.  What’s worse is that they did it on a whim.  They continue to waste all of the government’s time and resources trying to repeal the Affordable Care Act, even though the Conservative Chief Justice has already said that it is “the law of the land.”  The Republicans planned for and executed a “sequester” yet never were made to pay back the funds that the government lost during their political games.  While by some Constitutional Scholars’ views, those were acts of treason, but the Republicans were not taken to task, let alone court!  Meanwhile, years before that those same Republicans actually impeached Bill Clinton for a blow job and a loss in a real estate deal called Whitewater!

These do-nothing Republicans will go down in history as the Congress which accomplished the very least — less than any previous Congress.

The biggest problem that the Democratic party has, including those who would run for president both in the past and in the present, is that they don’t have the balls to immediately stand up and throw the truth in the faces of the Republicans who use the Big Lie to manipulate our voting population.  And that includes Hillary Clinton who, with husband President Bill Clinton, have decided to not engage in a debate with Trump even while he is viciously attacking both of them.

The mere fact that the GOP keeps pounding away, calling the United States a Christian Nation, shows their total lack of respect for that little piece of paper called the Constitution of the United States, in which We The People are guaranteed both “freedom OF religion” and “freedom FROM religion.”

The Republicans’ insistent for giving immigrants a ticket back home shows that they are not even cognizant of the fact that, unless they are Native Americans, their own families were immigrants.  And that includes Rubio and Cruz, among others.  Yet they shamelessly pile on to what Trump proposes be done to immigrants.

In addition, allowing the NRA to misrepresent the actual definition of the Second Amendment to the entire country and, by extension, the world, is criminal.  They buy their Senators and Congress people.  Otherwise, how could such a small group have such an incredible grip on our Congress?

Unless and until we, as a nation, join together to stop people like Trump and the rest of the Republicans running for the job of POTUS, they will continue to overwhelm those uninformed voters, use Gerrymandering, lies, fear mongering, and outright theft to win their elections across the board.

We must begin right now, by showing up at Trump rallies and protesting his treatment of people who disagree with him, his treatment of immigrants, people of color, and all the racist, bigoted, misogynistic things he does to generate a crowd bent upon truly harming others.  Document his people physically throwing out dissenters, not giving back their coats in the coldest of states, and beating the crap out of those who won’t go quietly.  Trump must be made to take full responsibility for the way people are treated, so that he may also share the indictments, when they come down.  Which leads me to the fact that the legal system must take a close look at how he manages his rallies, and the thugs who ‘protect’ him, with an eye towards making him fully and legally responsible for the beat-downs given to people who disagree with Trump.

Republicans, both candidates and party members, must move Trump off of the stage, and arrange for him to be dropped as a candidate, before it gets any worse.  Trump is like Ebola; difficult to cure, and deadly to all!

The greatest harm that can be done would be to elect Trump President.
