In one of the comments on my last diary entry here, KISS the GOP, I ended with this line:
"Somebody must stop them from using their sleazy tactics to steal yet another election!"So, someone asked me "tell us how we should do that" and "what you are doing about it?"
And so my response is that I am doing what I can, writing diaries here, and articles on other web sites, to try and raise awareness. Of course, writing these things here is somewhat akin to preaching to the choir, now isn't it?
Tell us how we should do that. My answer starts with:
We must all counter the GOP's tactics of using Lies, Innuendo, Misdirection, and more, to throw dirt at a Democratic candidate. I do this as often as I can.
What you are doing about it?
What we all must do: Put pressure on the DEMs and their leaders to step out and face down the lies, every time they are put out there by any member of the scumbag GOP!
For example, this business with Hillary's email. It's a non-starter, plain and simple. And we all know it is. But the DEM leaders don't tell the world that this is simply a Republican misdirection, by putting complete lies out there to muddy the waters, to take away Hillary's momentum.
More than that, the GOP's scumbag tactics work every time! They did it to John Kerry, a Viet Nam war hero; by the time they were done, you'd have thought he had been a deserter!
So as one simple person, I raise my voice, on the web, to urge others to do the same.
